Our purpose is for God to get the glory from our life.

Genesis 22:1-12 … Then he said, “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”

  • Isaac was a man not a boy when Abraham took him up the mountain.
  • Isaac was a man of faith.

“Expectations vs. Expectancy” – “There is a difference between Expectations and Expectancy.” - Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. * Expectations – We decide what the outcome is going to look like when God answers.  It is our expectation, not His. “I expect it to look like this!” * Expectancy – I serve a God who always keeps His word. I know that God is good. In the midst of a situation, you know that God will do His will. He will accomplish His will, His way. - Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. - What do you have? Expectations

  • We decide what the outcome is going to look like when God answers.
  • It is our expectation, not His. “I expect it to look like this!”

Expectancy

  • I serve a God who always keeps His word.
  • I know that God is good.
  • n the midst of a situation, you know that God will do His will.
  • He will accomplish His will, His way.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

  • What do you have? Use it with all you heart! Put His priorities first and He will take care of the rest.

  • You need to dream bigger.
  • If you can read, you can learn just about everything you want to know.

Hosea 10:12 Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, until he comes and showers righteousness on you.

  • There is so much God can do in your life is you plow up your ground.
  • We need to take a different road than what is going on around us right now. The road less traveled.

  • God will keep working on us until we are formed as he sees fit.

  • John 15:12-14 NIV My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.
  • Invitation to Awakening: Revelations 3:20 NIV Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
  • The Invitation: Today - I will sow my life, my resources, my time, and my talents for the Great Awakening, and Reviving of You Church and Harvesting of lost souls!
