The Biblical Role Of Fathers

The Power of The Father’s Presence

  • Better physical health – Eat and Do better
  • Healthier relationships – Wisdom in Life
  • Better able to control their emotions – by Faith
  • Feel safe and confident – Need Not Fear
  • Less likely to use drugs and alcohol – Do Not Need
  • Perform better in school – Clear Head & Better Values
  • Less likely to be poor – Stewardship
  • More likely to stay out of trouble – Pursue Good/God

How Do We Get His Presence? - You Invite Him in: Repent, Confess, Commit…Be Reconciled To God!

But just as everything we said to you was true, so our boasting about you to Titus has proved to be true as well. - All Scripture Is Breathed Out by God. The Word of God guides us as we read and study it. * 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, (17) so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. * 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. (4) They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. - God's Wrath on Unrighteousness * Romans 1:25-26 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen. (26) Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Men need to be men, we need to be true to what is true.

The Cost of Freedom

Declaration of Independence: …We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

President Ronald Ragan: Perhaps you and I have lived too long with this miracle to properly be appreciative. Freedom is a fragile thing and it's never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by way of inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. And those in world history who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again.

  • God sees you, knows you, and is with you.

You need to declare that you trust God in the middle of you situation.

God is for you, not against you. Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
