“Facts and Truths”

  • Facts – details of what is happening right now.
  • Truth - begins with the facts then goes someplace with it.

How does God care for us?

Keep trusting God!

  • The battle is not yours but God’s. Go and stand in front of the enemy and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.

“Salvation; Who Needs it?” – “Saved, saved from what?” – Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, - Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. * God does not need us, we need Him. *Who is God? Why should we care? - Who is God? “Saved, saved from what?”

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  • God does not need us, we need Him. *Who is God? Why should we care?

Who is God?

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

  • The creator is always greater than what was created.
  • Romans 1:17 For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it Is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
  • 1John 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
  • 1John 4:12 -13 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit

“Stewards of the Mysteries of God”

1Corinthians 4:1-2 So then, men ought to regard us as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the secret things of God. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.

Question?

  1. AS CHRISTIANS IN AMERICA… Have WE been ENTRUSTED with something God-given that others have not?
  2. Are we Stewards of More Treasure?

The U.S. CONSTITUTION BEGINS WITH: “WE THE PEOPLE”

  • We the People Select Representatives with Our values
  • We the People Can Remove/Replace Representatives
  • Elected Officials Govern at the CONSENT of the Governed (The People)
  • WA State Constitution – Political Power Resides in the People

The American Citizen is “THE SOVERIEGN” of the USA
OUR VOTE & ENGAGEMENT IS ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED!


“Get off Your Donkey!” – “Luke 10:25-37 The Parable of the Good Samaritan“ - What are we learning from this story? - 1. The hurt, lost, broken, and suffering supersedes your comfort. a. You need to work and serve according to Gods will not your own will. b. No one is unsaveable. 2. Love is a verb, it is an action. Are we loving people the way they need? a. John 13:34-35 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." b. 1John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 3. Good Samaritan had compassion that reflected his heart. a. Your time and finance need to be invested in the kingdom. b. Whose schedule are you on, yours or Gods? - You need to be ready to hear something you don’t want to here. - Get off you Donkey and do something.“Get off Your Donkey!”

What are we learning from this story?

Love is a verb, it is an action. Are we loving people the way they need?

a. John 13:34-35 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
b. 1John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Good Samaritan had compassion that reflected his heart.

“From the Fire to Freedom” – “The truth will set you free” – 2Corinthans 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. - 2Corinthans 3:15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. - Christ is the remedy over the veil. - 2Co 3:17 -18 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. - Freedom is in the concept of being transformed.  The process brings about the purification. - John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." - We have and unfair advantage: 1.Our God Reigns. 2. “The truth will set you free”

2Corinthans 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

2Corinthans 3:15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.

Christ is the remedy over the veil.

Freedom is in the concept of being transformed.  The process brings about the purification.

John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

We have and unfair advantage:

  1. Our God Reigns.
  2. By prayer we come into his presents.
  3. He has given us the baptism of the Holy Spirit to empower us.

“Not a Victim” - “Victimhood wants to possess everything God has given you.” – John 16: In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." * The message of the Gospel is that we have been set free. * Why would I be a victim? Why would I give them the rest of my life? It is a costly price to pay. * In Christ, all things are made new. - 1Corinthians 4:12-13 We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly. Up to this moment we have become the scum of the earth, the refuse of the world. - Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this?
