God wants to awaken us to His true Normal.
The book of Acts describes the Normal Church.

  • Awaken to this conviction: The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the singular, yet comprehensive solution to all that is broken in our lives and in our world.
  • John 15:12-14 NIV My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.
  • Invitation to Awakening: Revelations 3:20 NIV Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
  • The Invitation: Today - I will sow my life, my resources, my time, and my talents for the Great Awakening, and Reviving of You Church and Harvesting of lost souls!

Ezekiel 18:32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!

“Just as He said”

  • For Revival and Awakenings, God has to arrive “Triumphantly”.
  • The people need to cry out and they need to pray.
  • he people need to prepare the way. We need to want Him to come.
  • We need to worship Him fervently.

Passover

Exodus 12:1-26 …"On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn—both men and animals—and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD…

  • The triumphant exit.

Hebrews 10:35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

So what do we do?

  • Genesis 45 - God was in the middle. Joseph provides for his brothers and family.
  • Acts 2:23 – Gods set purpose.
  • 1 Peter 3:14 Do not fear what the world fears. Be prepared to give and answer. (When the middle gets tough.)

Because of our faith, we create an onramp for others to come to Christ.


“His Grace is Sufficient For Me” - “A lost Generation” - Judges 2:1-23 Israel’s Disobedience and Defeat - Revivals stop the slide of a nation. But when that generation pass away, the people slide back worse than before. - There is hope for all that is going on.
