Why was this question asked?

  • Old covenant has passed, the New covenant has been entered.

  • May we never forget the sacrifices of our forefathers.

A fallen warrior’s sacrifice. Live a life that honors them.

You may only have one vote but you can influence may others.

Ephesians 4:1 – Live a life worth of the sacrifice Christ made.

Do not become a slave to fear. Know the truth for it will set you free.

There is a cost to freedom.

“Presumption, Faith and Obedience”

In light of the debate on "Can we manipulate God to do what we want?"

I will be sharing from significant portions of Session #6 of the "Journey To Transformation" course ( Sentinel Group) about - Is God just Sovereign and we can't "make" Him to anything by prayer?; and can we believe that God would visit us - in our day - really?

(This is one of my favorite sessions - I will be just using sections of this).

And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. - Act 4:26 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against his Anointed One.' - John 19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. – Benediction: Hebrews 13:20 May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. “Palm Sunday – Trust the Character of God” – “Trust the Character of God as He has demonstrated in what He has done.” – Joshua 7:1-10 What is going on here? * The Sin of Achan * God was serious, don’t touch what is mine. * We think we know better than God especially when we have had success.  * We forget what God has done for us in the past. This can happen even to the best of us. – Joshua missed that God was reveling His character to his people by what He did. Joshua 7:1-10 What is going on here?

  • The Sin of Achan
  • God was serious, don’t touch what is mine.
  • We think we know better than God especially when we have had success.
  • We forget what God has done for us in the past. This can happen even to the best of us.

Joshua missed that God was reveling His character to his people by what He did. God cares about His people.

Don’t compromise on what God has told you to do.

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
